Mom & her 6 ducklings. Took her numerous attempts before she hatched any. Still have 1 duckling in the house that she rejected.

How much sand? How deep in the coop? Our coop is in a barn with a concrete floor. I have had it with straw &/or shavings!

Lucky, blessed, either way I was shocked! But I know I still need to get a good digital I can leave in there. Looking at 1 from Incubator Warehouse that has the Hygrometer too. Now we just have to find the $!

I would say to check it more often for movement. Use a kitchen timer.

Don't know where you live, but around here we have a LOT of coyote's. Forget the bb gun. Not enough range or power. Use something larger to protect your flock.
