    Anyone have experience with large roosters, can they fight off predators? Our rooster was a Silver Phoenix, aggressive but small.

    Thanks everyone for the help. I have not been able to get a trap yet. There are no more birds for the cat to kill, so there is no big rush. I will update this tread if I get the bobcat. Steve

    My wife's pet chickens were all killed on Christmas. I think it was a Bobcat. One large bird, 10 to 15 lbs, was eaten. The other 5 killed and buried in the straw. The killer had to fit through a 8 in opening, and climb well. It found a small opening that I failed to secure. There are bobcats...
