    Thanks! Hmm, I've known of two women that had house hens. They lived alone and the hens were bantys! No, they didn't know each other and they lived on different areas of the county. Not very sanitary, but I thought it was sweet.

    Some neighbors of mine have what they call "Runners". They are ducks that walk, no run upright! They are constantly going. So cute. I'd get some if I wasn't so close to the road.

    That's what I expected. I gave my 2-3 year old flock to a friend and started over in March. Sad story here, but it improved. I ordered 15 RIR's from a hatchery. They got here on the fifth day, not the third day. All of them died but two, amazingly, survived. Then I got some local chicks...
