    I don't know which is the first.... I do know they are from my 13-14 week old Leghorn I purchased at Tractor Supply this spring. She is the first of 8 to lay.

    Yeah it's been pretty crazy this year. We had just over 7 months straight with snow on the ground. It looks like spring is really here starting tomorrow. I also reseeded our lawn today, in the rain:/ I want to get my garden started......!!

    I don't plan on keeping the water inside all the time, just till they get a lil older, 2 more weeks tops. Same with the lamp, I insulated my coop so I don't think I will need one later, but I wanted the chicks out of the basement.... I'm in the Sault and we had snow last week and high 20's low...

    I live in the Upper Pennisula in Michigan so I have a heat lamp in the coop right now. It gets done into the 20's at night and my birds are only 7 weeks old. It's dark by 9:00 here right now, I put the water in the coop at 8:00 and turn on the light, then lock the coop down after dark. The...

    The ill black ones are a bantam, I think they are sebrights...? Ones chest is almost all black.

    I got these 2 RIR from my local Tsc. They are supposed to be pullets. Help identify please. Of the 2 bantams we got, 1 is a lot darker on the chest so. I have no idea what they are. I think pic 1/5 is a female, 3/4 male? I believe they are about 4 weeks old. Thanks for the help. Pic #1

    Give it a shot please. We bought these girls (hopefully) from Tractor Supply 3 weeks ago. They are supposed to be al females, with straight run bantams. Thanks for the help.
