Giant eggs, tiny eggs, multiple eggs...is this a problem? (PIC)

Hi everyone! I've got 12 coturnix, 2 males and 10 females. This is our second year with these birds and everything is going pretty well but there has been some weirdness lately and I wondered if any of it meant there was a problem. First, when I collect eggs sometimes there are 11 or 12. No...

    Egg Drought

Totally makes sense. When we first got the birds it was only a 20 min. car ride and when we got home we already had 3 eggs in the transport tub. The next day 5 eggs then nothing. I thought it was the stress of the move, thanks for the peace of mind.

    Quail housing

I make a pile of hay about 2 feet high that makes a ramp to the roof of one of the houses and they climb up and down it all day. I bet they'll figure it out.

    Egg Drought

I've got a mix of coturnix...a few browns & goldens (mostly males) but mostly A&M's (all females). The A&M's are new to the team but they don't seem to be laying eggs. They were laying for a few days after we got them but now they aren't. I've only had them for about 10 days...is it possible...

How much should these guys be eating?

Hi everyone! I'm new to quail...well...new to birds in general, and I've got 11 coturnix chicks that are about 3 or 4 weeks old. Everything is going great, they've been really easy to care for, but I'm afraid they might be eating too much. Are they supposed to free feed or should i be feeding...
