Drama over "sheer" curtains and seedlings.

well, they're big enough now that i took it to chance and they're doing just fine... i had them in my bedroom, and my son only killed a few of them. i had to rotate out the tomatoes to the window with the sheer curtains to make room for the onions, which he left alone for awhile. he killed 3 of...

Absolutely genuis. Definitely doing this next season... the stems of my seedlings are too long from lack of sun, and I'm starting to think I may have started them too early. I was hoping for warmer weather sooner.

I was hoping it was all a hoax and we could start planting soon! Hopefully this will be the last of the snow, I'm ready for spring gardening! And my...

I'm thinking about putting a play yard up near the garden, where my son can be contained and do whatever he like to his own garden. haha He'll be 2 in June but I don't trust him in my garden just yet. I'd like him to feel involved as well, but he's a very confident kid who thinks he knows best...

    Shed/Coop Conversion

They will DEFINITELY have access to the run for several hours a day. I myself couldn't stay "cooped up" without losing my mind, so I would never do that to my girls. We do get VERY cold winters, so my hope is that having a slightly smaller coop with some insulation will help to keep them warm in...
