We are on our 3rd brood of hens. Currently, our Wyndote has a prolapsed vent and, possibly, gleet. I have been treating her with bathes daily, massaging out crusties, using homey on her vent and then applying witchhazel around the vent to help keep her insides inside. Have her in our basement in a darkened crate. Looking for advice of what to feed her to keep her from laying and how to treat her. We are on day 2.
