    Oat Fodder not thick

I bought oat grains and am trying to grow fodder. Some of it germinated and is growing but I am not getting a mat of grass like I see with other peoples fodder. Can someone tell me if I am doing anything wrong? I am using tins (I think 9x12) which i water and drain daily.

Guess what season it is in the Northern Hemisphere?! - Its FODDER Season! 🍀

I want to try to grow fodder this year. Would you recommend one grain over another? I can currently only get wheat, rye or oats. Thanks in advance for giving me the idea!

Pea gravel outdoor flooring for the run - good or bad?

I have pea gravel where my chickens free range, and have had it for over 8 years, but with all the rain we have had, it's getting very muddy. How should I clean it down. (years of poo has made the "mud" accumulate). Based on this string, I should throw sand down too. Any advice?

    Sick duckling

I get it. It passed, I am sure it was failure to thrive. I tried my best. Good idea on the apple cider vinegar. I will start that with the healthy one. I will also give a hard boiled egg with it's food.
