PLEASE HELP! TO CULL or NOT? UPDATE ON DOG ATTACK..NECK INJRY! WARNING.... NEW PICTURES!!

In my above thread, I mention Nelda tolerated her feedings well. I must note: there were a few days were I had to feed her myself because she no longer would do that on her own. I had a very educated chicken helper from this website refer me to the feeding by tubing threads on this website...

PLEASE HELP! TO CULL or NOT? UPDATE ON DOG ATTACK..NECK INJRY! WARNING.... NEW PICTURES!!

Thank you 4 your ovations! I appreciated your support very much thru the process! I did what I could for my Nelda because I'm crazy about my pets and believed in Nelda being strong enough to survive. If at any point in the healing, Nelda would have shown serious failings, making me believe...

Epsom salt soaks in a large sink full of warm water will help and squirting majorly diluted hydrogen peroxide will help too of you have nothing else and are on a tight budget. She tolerated baby aspirin for pain. I would give my Nelda one baby aspirin just before her daily wound cleaning. I...

PLEASE HELP! TO CULL or NOT? UPDATE ON DOG ATTACK..NECK INJRY! WARNING.... NEW PICTURES!!

You have to keep your wounded chicken separate from the others for at least 3 months or the other chick's will peck at their wounds and possibly kill. I learned that from this ordeal. Slow reintroduction is best.

PLEASE HELP! TO CULL or NOT? UPDATE ON DOG ATTACK..NECK INJRY! WARNING.... NEW PICTURES!!

Take a look at my old posting. My Nelda today is doing great! She (just 2 days ago) has finally rejoined the flock inside the chick coop at night. She stayed in a grey large tote for a very long time. Her feathers have grown in and she is doing wonderful. I purchased charcoal (wonder dust)...

    Need some help!!

We have 6 hens and get one egg from each gal everyday. No rooster needed here! We saw our first egg about 6months after they hatched. They will start doing a sort of crouching down or squatting when you go to pet them...when you start seeing that behavior you know you're close to seeing eggs...
