    Missing feather from neck🤷🏻‍♀️

    Hi there a few of my girls are missing some random feathers from just their necks only and they are not molting...I’ve attached some pictures, what do you think the cause is?

    They are 8 weeks old and are still on crumbles...I want to put them in with the bigger girls tonight but I’m hesitant because they’ll have access to the layer pellets. Should I wait longer to integrate them?

    I’m specifically referring to when to integrate them into the existing flock, Theory states that if they are fully feathered and big enough to take care of themselves then that is when to integrate them at approximately 12 weeks. That is what I am referring to.

    Mine are outside in the garage not in the house. I just haven’t integrated them into the existing flock yet.

    Won’t the big girls beat up on them? That’s why I thought you are supposed to wait to integrate them with the existing flock.

    I was under the impression that you are supposed to wait until they are fully feathered to put them outside, approximately 12 weeks.
