Tom Turkey Sitting like dog
It just occurred to me that maybe he is in a roosting position? Poor guy. I keep him in a metal dog crate at night to keep him safe. It is about 4'high,4'wide and 5' long so he has plenty of room inside but he doesn't have a roost. I feel dumb. I bet I need to provide a roost for him. Thanks... -

Oh, sorry. No it is not a trick. He was just sitting like a dog right before dusk. Usually he lays down at dusk. But tonight he ate dinner then sat down on his butt with his feet wide apart and his head up, just like a dog. I am worried that this is a sign of something wrong as I haven't seen... -

Hi, I am new here and was wondering if anyone else has seen their tom sit like a dog. Bentley is 2 years old. I rescued him a little over a year ago and I have never seen him do this before. Thanks for any info. Valerie
