    Hi there, Yes checked the crop and seemed to be emptying. After I posted they were drinking more water which seemed good. I reached out to the hatchery and she suspected trouble with the respiratory system and gave me a little VetRX to try and that’s seemed to help! Still a little ‘cough’...

    We are building one now. The whole enclosure is complete but their home itself is not built yet. Seeing as we picked up 3 today that are about a week old, we’ve still got some time, and in our climate they won’t be out there for a little while longer…

    Oh goodness, well as of this afternoon I have experienced ‘chicken math’ and have just added 3 more so we’re at 8! We have 2 barred rocks, 2 leghorns, 2 buff orpingtons (a smooth and a frizzled) a silkie and a black star
