    Hen attacks her chicks?

I hope she will! If she doesn't, do you think there's any way I can reintroduce them after a couple of days? Thank you for your help :)

    Hen attacks her chicks?

Yeah she's definitely had them for at least 18 days, and the chick only hatched a few hours ago so it was pretty late in the day as well.

    Hen attacks her chicks?

Yes, she seemed to get off the nest every day at about 1:00 to eat and drink and that was pretty much it. She was broody for about a week and a half before we gave her the eggs though, could that be an issue?

Not sure about the breed of your chicken(s)? Click here!

Thank you so much! I've never even heard of that breed before, I'll have to do some reading up :) My Wyandottes always had really big lumpy combs so I was shocked when she had such a tiny one!

I would love some help with my girl! She is about 4 months old, and bough at my local farm & pet store. They sell tons of different kinds of chickens, and at the same time I bought a "Heritage" RIR, Salmon Favorelle, Bantam Plymouth Rock, Partridge Rock, and a Buff Orpington. I was told "Tiny"...
