Know of a way to defeat starlings?

they are afraid of birds that eat birds-hawks, falcons. Maybe play some raptor noises when they come around, get an owl or hawk statue for the top of your coop?

Is this comb common in a Wyandotte rooster?

Would the single comb be better in a hot region like florida?

    Golden Wyandotte rooster combs

I have some young (5mo old) roosters. I will be culling soon. I have noticed that some have combs that are tall and flop over, some have what I think of as the rose comb (kinda flat and rose looking) and a few have extra long "hairs" starting to grow out of their heads. Which should be culled first?

First time broody turkey, advice needed

I had a broody hen sitting on eggs for aver a month. I took some eggs out from under her and candled them. Nothing. So I took the rest away and replaced them with 3 newer laid eggs, waited a week and candled those. Again nothing. So I ended that experiment. I suspect that 2 toms spend more time...

    Collecting turkey eggs

Ok...so for the last 3 days there has been a hen on each nest-at least when I am looking lol. I have left all the eggs in each nest and am not expecting a huge hatch out, but am wondering if any will hatch. There are still eggs being laid somewhat close to each nest and if they have not been...
