    Thank you all for the welcome! I'm super excited to start my chicken ventures! We have to Tom Turkeys (Thanksgiving and Christmas). And unfortunately, two roos. One will be dinner and we're going to get 3 hens.

    No, unfortunately we don't have hens. My cousin gave me these thinking the egger was a hen. We're in search of 3 hens now. Lol. One roo will be dinner.

    New chicken owner: Breed and sex?

    Hi, totally new to the chicken thing. Been around them all my life, never owned my own. I have two that were given to me. Was told one (1st photo) is female and one is male. Someone on another forum told me the one that looks to be an easter egger is actually a rooster. Thanks for any help!
