    Same here. Inland northwest still triple digits but am most afraid of is low humidity & the 4th of July celebration fireworks. Any suggestions on emergency evacuation process with my 3 chickies?? I have a large dog crate & food/water. Some treats, any thing else a must??

    I have a hen approximately 2-3 yrs old currently molting & just found her laying on ground with peck marks ( bleeding) on neck. Cleaned & treated neck but noticed has a pocket of some type of liquid under her feathers & skin of her chest/lower throat. Any advice or link I can use to help?? Also...

    Molting 2-3 yr hen just noticed pale comb color when put in for the night. Was around 80 degrees today, have huge fenced in run in northern idaho under pine trees. Plenty of open source water & shade. I need any suggestions.

    Ladies & Gents, much appreciated advice & will definitely try both clipping & soaking. Pics to come of the mighty endeavor. May be a few days as we are expecting a cool front w/nite temps under 40 degrees & as all 3 need it, I don’t want frosty butt 🥶

    How do I clean petrified poop from butt Just got 3 freebie chickens & have petrified poop on all 3. What is safest way for chickens & humans with out using harsh soap. Is there an organic way?? Vinegar, saltwater, or something else??
