What gender is this beautiful chick?
I’m so torn on whether I want to keep any of them that turn out to be roosters. The only reason I would is for protection for the ladies. I had decided if we wanted new chicks we would let them sit on a fertilized egg we purchased. I don’t know, I don’t think I want a rooster…..😕- Vickielg

What gender is this beautiful chick?
I’m new at chicks. We have 18 different breeds. Four of which were supposed to be Easter Egger. Someone said they thought this chick was a Rooster. Do you agree? What traits distinguish between hens and roosters? They were hatched around May 24, 2023- Vickielg
