I’m so torn on whether I want to keep any of them that turn out to be roosters. The only reason I would is for protection for the ladies. I had decided if we wanted new chicks we would let them sit on a fertilized egg we purchased. I don’t know, I don’t think I want a rooster…..😕

I’m new at chicks. We have 18 different breeds. Four of which were supposed to be Easter Egger. Someone said they thought this chick was a Rooster. Do you agree? What traits distinguish between hens and roosters? They were hatched around May 24, 2023
