    I am a new backyard chicken enthusiast. I have 2 golden wyandottes, 1 delaware, and 2 icelandics. I had 2 that I thought were pullets, but they started crowing and I learned I cant have them where I live. Fortunately though, I found a good home for them. I love sitting outside watching them...

    Vegetable plants

    Hi I am new to backyard chickens. I have some cucumber and cabbage (both green and purple) that never produced veggies, can I give these plants to my chickens? What about red, green or yellow peppers? I already found that potatoes and tomatoes are poison so those are going to the compost pit..
