Chick 1:Are you a boy or a girl? Chick 2:I don't know. This is harder than it looks. Chick 1: Yeah. We should post this and ask someone. Chick 2: Definitely. I'll wait to date..

What do you put eggs in to give away?

So you've got a lot of eggs and you want to give them away but don't want to buy containers you'll likely never get back. What do you put the eggs in so thye won't break?

Looking for pics of a Partridge Olive Egger Rooster...

Update. Definitely a hen. Ironically, she doesn't have much of a crown or waddle nor is it very red.

Help! Our missing hen has returned and she's not alone!

Maybe you could put a plastic tote upside down and cut out a hole just small enough for the chicks. That way they have a place to escape just in case another chicken gives them a hard time. Otherwise they're still with the flock.

Looking for pics of a Partridge Olive Egger Rooster...

(S)He's about 3 weeks old. That comb seems a little big already. I got 3 other (different breeds) at the same time and their combs are barely noticeable. I have a hunch he's not going to lay very many eggs.

    What breeds? And both Pullets?

The post says there's a new puppy but the pictures show chickens. Maybe they promised someone they wouldn't get any more chickens, then they got chickens and called them puppies.

    What breeds? And both Pullets?

Maybe calling it a puppy was a loophole into getting more chickens.

    What breeds?

Is a small rooster likely to mate with hens twice their size?

    What breeds?

Good to know. I'll leave it up to my kids. For now he's Sir Penelope.

    What breeds?

    What breeds?

These are assorted from TSC, females. They're about 11 weeks old. The silkie is an easy one. The little black cotton ball has frizz with curls at the tips. They were all sexed but her comb seems pretty red already. The two greys... orpingtons, marans, ?
