    indoor duck diaper problems

I purchased some duckling training diapers for my Call Duck and we are having a difficult time putting them on. When she was a day old, the smallest size was too big. Now at 6 days old, the smallest size is too small but the next size up is too big. Also, I'm supposed to safety pin the diaper on...

    Show off your house ducks!

My call duck, Bandit is only 3 days old but I'm so happy to have him/her. We watch movies together (Smokey and the Bandit, of course), we take naps together, and we went out to the ice cream parlour with the family the other night. I can't wait until the duckling diapers fit so we can take...

    DUCKLING DIAPERS?

I got the duckling diaper pack online (the one that has a few sizes as your duck grows) and the "newborn" size is twice as big as my call. . .I guess she'll just make some messes for a few weeks until she's big enough.

    Therapy Duck

I was looking into it about a month ago. I'll have to do some calling around but on the Childrens' Hospital website, it said something that made it seem like they only accept dogs as therapy animals.

    Mamma muscovey ate her baby....

The closest to that that I've seen happened a few weeks ago with a Cayuga. She had been laying on her eggs for a good month and I wanted to take them in and have a look (and put them in an incubator if I had to). When I was trying to reach them, she stepped on one and immediately took it out...

My first Fox attack that ended in a kill

We think a fox (or coyote) killed 4 out of our 5 turkeys. Whatever it was, it ripped the latch off the coop. I just hope my last tom is okay. . .I've heard they get really depressed when they're lonely.
