    My 6week old chick named Nessie has a boil thingy on the right side of her chest. I thought it was her crop protruding. So I gave a little starter feed with baby grit. Swelling went down and I noticed it wasn't her gut or stomach but rather a dime sized hard knot. No heat coming from the knot...

    I'm so sorry to hear about your babes injury. But thank you for sharing. This has helped inform me so as to be very cautious with my chicks. I have a dog and a neighborhood dog that runs.

    I'd almost say that if the breed and age range is same/similar it'd be fine. I'm no expert tho. I'd like to see what others say as well
