    I have a Speckled Sussex that is 4 months old and has me puzzled on the gender. The comb is not red but it's neck and tail have me thinking it's a rooster. Just wondering...

    I have a 3 month old Speckled Sussex who seems to have similar features that one would see on a rooster. It hasn't started crowing yet. I love it's personality but will have to re-home if it's a rooster because my flock is too small for two roosters.

    I recently bought pullets to add to my existing flock and think one of my pullets might actually be a rooster. The Buff Orpington is about 10 weeks old and has a prominent cone and wattle unlike my other young Buff Orpingtons. What do you think? Thank you
