At first, it was just lying down there, or rolling desperately trying to get the braces out, I thought the chick would never be able to stand up… after 1 day it was standing and hopping around. Very impressive.

After 7 Power outages 9 of 10 to 15 hours including 1 during lockdown it is a miracle these guys made it, both new Ameraucana chicks will be my daughter's present, so in the end, we are very happy with 2 new chicks. Thank you guys for all the help.

2 chicks ;) I did need to do assisted hatch for both, but they are both fine now. Thanks for asking. I am still monitoring the other eggs, but didn’t see any activity (wiggling/pipping) on them.
