    Egg color and size differences?

    So I jut got my first two eggs!! eep! And I noticed a size and color difference? She is a black sex link and I know she will give brown eggs but will they change color and size during her continuous laying? Until reaching full color and size? My first one was a bit smaller than the second one...

    So my baby just passed her 2nd egg!!! Woo woop!! :) ;) her first was I believe the 24th, it's small wich I believe is normal for first egg layers, so I still have a bit of questions! Today when she laid her 2n egg she jumped into the nesting box and staring rearranging the nest picking up straw...

    She's 9 weeks with 5 days, and the rest of her body is black, on top ( on her wings ) is shading a bit green.

    Im not 100% sure what I have!

    I am positive that thy are hens! Check the back tail feathers they will normally be all lined up perfectly if they are hens!

    Well I rescued it from people who were mistreating it and we're in responsible of this chicken! But a guy who I guess got the chicken for his sons said that it was "given" to him from a guy, "with a stand" nearby. But anyways, Thank you for the guess! Do you know what she is mixed with? :)
