    Should i put anything over the open part of shell, like a wet paper towel? Just so the air doesnt dry out the membrane? Or just leave it as it is?

    I had a great hatch yesterday! All 9 of my turkey eggs hatched successfully after a failed attempt to hatch others :) I put a mash in their brooder for them, but remember my local feed store had me start my BBW meat turkeys right off the bat with a crumble.     At this point, is it too risky to open and add water? The woman I got the eggs from, who hatches and raises them, said 70s is perfect.

    The one that pipped 30 hours ago, is the one I'm worried about. It has made no progress since it's little pip yesterday at 4pm. Is this normal for a turkey to take this long?
