I'd like to enter my handsome boy into this contest. His name is Victor and he is an 18 month old Blue Australorp rooster. He was supposed to be a pullet but ended up being the best boy!
I forgot to mention that I also used vet wrap to make a hobble to help keep her legs where they should be. Normally this would be used for splay leg, which she did not have, but it did help her keep better control of her legs that were just kind of going everywhere. I kept the hobble on for...
She made a full recovery. I treated her for vitamin deficiency. I used the instructions on this website https://www.browneggblueegg.com/Article/Crookneck/Crookneck.html
The amounts on that site are based on a 2lb chicken so I had to do some math based on the weight of my chick. Basically, I...
I have a 2 week old Beilefelder chick that up until a couple days ago was developing normally with no issues. Suddenly her legs became very weak and uncoordinated. She seems fine otherwise. I haven't been able to find any injury, swelling, or areas that feel hotter than normal. She she is...
Here's a poop pic. This is a much better poop than yesterday. Yesterday is was very liquid and didn't hold its shape at all. The urate was much more yellow instead of white yesterday as well. There is a little bit of blood as well which there wasn't any yesterday.
I nust posted an update, but here are answers to your questions...

I'm going to try posting an update, but here's answers to your questions...
Not egg bound, she laid yesterday. No impacted or sour crop. I'm familiar with and successfully treated both in other hens. No unusual lumps in her abdomen. I am suspecting that she was dehydrated yesterday. Last night...
I have a 11 month old RIR that has been lethargic today. Comb and waddles seem pale and cooler temp than usual, tail is droopy. We've brought her inside to help keep her warm, calm, and away from the flock. She is panting, but seems more to be when she is warm and not because she is struggling...
I have a 7 month old EE who has been having crop problems since last Sunday (11/13). Her crop is not emptying at night. Her crop is large and squishy. When I massage it, I can feel something like sand in the bottom of it other than that it is squishy. On Monday I noticed her breath smelled kind...
