    My Molly died last night at 9:12PM CST. She was 14 1/2 years old.

    So sorry for your loss, sending hugs your way I’m not looking forward to the day I have to cross this bridge with my ducks. Sounds like she lived a life full of love with you ❤️

    I think we are going to do that, we have something we can use to split their space. I did see her eat a little today thankfully but I also believe she is low in the pecking order and maybe just prefers her own space :/ at least I’m hoping that’s all it is

    It’s possible, we keep them in the garage on cold days although I’ve made sure there’s nothing on the ground for them to get into she could have found something I missed. This morning I brought some treats down and she did seem interested and took some thankfully!

    Usually she is very happy and hangs around the other ducks but for the past day or two she has been staying away kind of off in her own corner… they are about 6 months old and I just started finding eggs this week so I thought maybe she’s broody somehow already but I don’t think that’s the case...

    I ordered 3 welsummers and one is supposed to be a rooster but they all look identical, my other chickens were easy to tell at this age but this is the only one that seems it may be a roo out of the 3 welsummers. Looks like some darker feathers are popping through but just not sure and wondered...
