    Thank you. I'll try that. Any instructions on how to pick up without getting scratched? Last time I picked her up she got scared and scratched my hands badly. Long gloves? What kind are best?

    I have a Silver Spangled Spitzhaben that is about 12 weeks old who used to go into the coop at night with 3 Golden Sex Links of the same age. She's the smallest so the others always sit on top of her. Now she refuses to go into the coop and sleeps on top of the coop. It's not too cold right now...

    I've been giving my chicks purified water, but some people say city water that has lot's of chemicals is okay. What kind of water do you think is best? I want healthy chickens tht lay organic eggs.

    At what age is it okay to start giving chicks greens like lettuce? My chicks are 7 weeks old.

    I have 4 chicks that are 7 weeks old and just went outside in their pen this week. I have a 3 gallon water dispenser and am wondering how often I should change the water.
