    I'm planning to raise some meat birds this year and was wondering when the usual time is to order them? I'm in Ohio. I know they are at feed stores sometime in the spring but I cant recall when that is.

    Sorry, but the truth is that as long as the owner is accepting of the breed traits like independent nature and barking at things that "dont belong", they make quite lovely pets.
