Has anyone had sour crop go away on it's own?

Thanks! I felt it last night and I don't dare push it around. She's acting completely normal. Do you think it can go away by itself?

    Sour Crop CURED with Monistat

Thank you! She is acting normal, but I'm really going to watch her today after I get out of work. I think I will try the acv and yogurt first (does it matter what kind of plain yogurt it is?) Would you isolate her if she's acting normal? I guess she just shouldn't eat the pellets, right? I have...

Do you mean you used the monistat suppositories or cream? I haven't started anything but cider vinegar in the water yet.

    Sour Crop CURED with Monistat

HI, I just noticed that my Brahma has what appears to be this. I bought apple cider vinegar last night and put it in everyone's water. I haven't isolated her yet, but think I should. She's not acting weird, but I think she will from what I've read. Can I just put the yogurt in a bowl or do I...

Well, I'm not sure what it is, but from reading about sour crop, that's what it sounds like. She's acting completely normal, from what I can tell. It's just that for awhile now she has had this big "pouch" that's jiggly, definitely not hard. Should I intervene?

I'm very worried and what causes it? I do not have a chicken vet in my area. :(

    large chest/fluid sac?

Hi everyone! My year old dark brahma hen has developed this loose wiggly pouch on her chest. She's acting just fine and my husband said she's just fat. Not true. It's too loose. Is this something called "sour crop"? Thanks!
