I wish someone had told me not to raise the baby chicks in the house. We thought it was a good idea....but oh, the dust. It was everywhere, covering everything in the room. Now babies start out in the garage!

This thread has me rolling! I've heard the ever-popular "gotta have a rooster to get eggs," but the dumbest thing I've heard yet is that the brown eggs are more nutritious than the white. I didn't even bother asking him why he thought so...*facepalm*
