They mainly run loose but every so often I keep them locked up in there run for a few days to see if I get any eggs an since no, I'm guessing they can't be laying away unless they are crossing there leggs for a few days till ther are free to go back to there secret laying place

They just have layers an mixed corn. And are free range in 2 large fields.
The inside of the coop is quite dark, same as my friends the only difference is my coops a little bigger as it used to be my turkey coop when I had 12 turkeys.
Yeh they are fed layers pellets and mixed corn like I have done for the last 20 years. At the moment they are on layers pellets with wormer mixed with it. Just trying to cover all bases now
A group of us bought 6 POL chickens so 18 went in to a cage and a friend droped them off to us. This was back in October 2018
Now the other 2 lots of 6 POL are all laying madley and they both started laying slowly in November and they have trickled through til Jan when they all stated laying...
Iv just hatched 11 borbon red turkeys, which are now a week old. When would you sugest giving them fine oystar grit? An giving them some grass, or would it be best to give them washed lettice?

Both birds had the same amount of dead time before gutting, both were bled straight after the kill. now iv managed to upload a picture hope it helps. not worried about eatting the liver as thats a defo no no hate the stuff, im worried about eating the meat.
