    No if there not theres its hard to add chicks to a pen most times they kill them. Raise them seperate try to add them to the flock when they get older

    Splashes have darker colors, black,red, brown ect. In my experience the darker chicks are all going to be roos.[/IMG]

    I have pea fowl and i try to keep there protein around 28%. Cat feed has high protein and feed it as a treat i mix laying pellets and cat food to keep up protein. For chicks a chick starter grower works well.
