Hey guys
This is my new rooster Sammy having a bite to eat. He's a character!
So I know he's a Pekin bantam (which I am new to) and he's a mixture of different colours (different coloured parents). He's still quite young. Less than 6 months I believe.
What colour/colours would this be...
Yes! Okay, I hadn't thought of that. That seems very likely as we had all been picking ehr up and petting her a lot.
Any solution here or once he sees her as someone else's is it fixed forever?
Cheers
This is his first season. Hens all vary in ages but he's probably at least 6 months younger than the others although he's about 10 months old now. Your advice sounds like a good idea--reintegrate her and then put him in rooster jail. What is midol? Cheers
Hi all.
I have one rooster (Plymouth Rock) and 11 hens. Recently, 3 new hens were added and settled in fine. They were socialising with the rest of the hens and were fine with the rooster.
One of these hens (ISA Brown) is very tame and friendly. She'll let us pick her up and she tends to wander...
Hey guys,
I hatched x3 Plymouth roosters last December and can only keep x1.
I would like to keep the one who has the most classic Plymouth Rock features to breed with but I don't have a particularly well trained eye.
Any advice on which one to keep?
Let's call them, from left to right, A...
Thanks all.
If anyone knows of anyone selling ducks in suburbanMelbourne (northeast, north , or west ) or northern Victoria (Seymour/Euroa/Wang), send me a message.
Would prefer either Buff Orpingtons; Saxony; Welsh Harlequins; Appleyards in that order.
Gumtree doesn't give you much!
Cheers
Hi there
I'm looking at getting some ducks and have found these ones in the photos advertised on gumtree as Khaki Campbell ducks. I pretty sure they are not... Probably cross breeds.
Could someone with a more expert eye have a look and let me know what you think?
I think the duck in the picture...
Nice thanks heaps for that. I hoped that was the case but wondered if anything else was going on. In that case I'll keep the roo in the first picture. Thanks again

Hi there.
I hatched 6 chicks from a pure bred Plymouth rooster and supposedly the same with the hens.
Of the six, I got 3 hens and 3 roos.
2 of the boys and oneokf the girls look "normal" as per my untrained eye.
One of the boys and two of the girls have a funny look about the head, kind of...
