They look fantastic! So cute! My girls started to lay beginning of June and they fantastic layers! Nice big light cream colored eggs. If you go to Townlinehatchery.com and look up pearl stars it will talk about how they are color sexed when hatched (depending on parent stock). Yours look like...- Wetmorechick

cooling off your chickens
I keep fruits like blueberries, strawberries, peaches and mangos in the freezer and give a couple bags every hot day! They LOVE it and it helps keep them cool!- Wetmorechick

Wasted feed....
I have used this style feeder for years and I don’t think the girls have ever wasted any feed! Works like a charm.- Wetmorechick

Wasted feed....
I have a “zero waste” feeder. Rubbermaid tote - cut 4 inch holes through side - insert 4 inch PVC 90 degree neck and caulk! You will have to cut about 1/2 inch off of PVC neck about half way around so the feed flows under where the girls can eat it.- Wetmorechick

My baby chick seems really attached to me!!
My girl Betty White (White Leghorn) is by my side constantly! She has been that way since I got her as a chick 5 years ago. Very protective of me and rides around on my shoulder anytime I let her! She is super jealous of any other girl that gets my attention! I love her so much :love- Wetmorechick
