.better if they are pups and know the consequences of their actions if they hurt the birds...but some don't learn...plus some canines are more gentle and some are more aggressive. Huskies were no good for my flock, but that's me. I've had great luck...
I have caught fox and coyote on my cameras and they carry the birds away. The only predator I have seen that just kills them and leaves them is stray dogs.
Count the day you place them in the incubator as day 0...on the 18th day lockdown and try and keep your humidity close to 70..best of luck happy hatching
Try using the shavings in the nesting boxes and place a couple of their real eggs inside. If u can show them the "upgraded" nest box...do that. With my birds if 1 hen lays there the others will follow
