    Thank you. I carefully wiped them clean and spot cleaned any heavy egg mess still remaining with a damp paper towel and they will go in an incubator.

    Thanks. And packed with personality. My boy Spike (3rd generation) is more of a feathered puppy than a 2 year old rooster.

    Well rats😆. I just bought 4 pullets for no reason at all. I didn’t even think about it because he was a definite cockerel chick when I bought “him”.

    I bought this bird as a cockerel as a chick. Just bought four pullet chicks to go with him. It is a cockerel right? He’s with a bunch of pullets the same age of different breeds and doesn’t have much comb still or terribly rooster like behavior.

    Maybe my hands are just shaky, but my eggs always roll when I put the basket in and out and the basket is a little too narrow to easily slide onto both rails. Does anyone have any modifications they use?

    Thanks. It looks like everyone I find no longer raises them. Hollerreads only ships adults and it is a long way to NC from Oregon. I’m afraid they won’t make it.

    10 weeks. I hope so. I have sooo many extra roosters this year. Even when I buy pullets to try to even numbers I get more cockerels. 😆
