We just picked up an 8 week old mini Aussie. I tried to show him my silkies briefly this evening when I was putting them up for the night & he latched on to one of my hen’s legs & wouldn’t let go! It didn’t hurt her but It was so alarming!!! Any advice is appreciated.

There are 3 chickens, all 5 months old & all silkies. The coop & run are approx 5X7. I let them all free range in the yard today as their first meeting. They seemed to ignore her but when they went inside, the old girls...
She/he is not aggressive but is definitely the alpha (gets food first). It’s the friendliest chicken I have (I only have 3). Also, no crowing but it’s more verbal than the others.
