Yes for sure! I’ve been waiting til they reach “rooberty” to see which one I wanted to keep but I like them all, so I may need to build a bachelor pad! 😆
My birds are 24 weeks old today. They’re a heritage breed and I read they were slower to develop so I was trying not to get impatient, but it was a thrilling experience to watch the whole process unfold! I have 3 cockerels and 3 pullets and I occasionally free range them. Well the one girl...
I’m a newbie. I have 7 black javas that are 19 weeks old. I feed a grower feed and give mealworms and watermelon as treats. They free range every couple of days. All poops have been normal except for this one I found on the poop board this morning. Should I be concerned? Thanks.
Thanks for your response. That’s a great idea. Right now we are building a covered run off of and behind the coop but we may expand the run and include the coop itself.
This was very helpful and I hope to see your updates as I am pretty sure I have 3 too many cockerels and will have to make a choice. I just bought leg bands so I can keep track of which is which as all mine are black and it’s hard to tell them apart!
Thank you!
A dog is next on my list, however I have to give it some time as hubby is not yet on board 😕 Our last one passed 3 years ago and he’s not anxious to get another one. I however want one more in my lifetime.
