So sorry to hear about your girl. I'm nursing a rooster right now and I feel so helpless. It's so difficult to figure out what the problem is.

I'm also having a similar problem with Junior, an Americauna-Golden Laced Wyandotte mix rooster. The noise of his crow changed a few weeks ago, which I thought was strange but not a big deal. Then his father who had been exiled to another part of the barn at night came back to the flock's perch...
