    Great info,thanks for sharing. We have 2 pet turkeys and getting their new outside coop ready for move in thi weekend. They are 3 months old and fully feathered now. Can your chicken info work for them as well. Thanks.

    Thank you for all this good info.Will all your info work for turkeys too? We have 2 pet turkeys that are 12 weeks old , fully feathered and we are getting their new outside coop ready for their move this weekend. We got them from a friend who knew as much about turkeys as we do. None!!!! Hoping...

    taming wild turkeys

    need help emergency; 9 wk old turkey broke its leg at the joint where the leg bends when they lay down . do i splint or not?. never have splinted anythings leg before. all help and info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    That is what we thought would work out the best for them. They are so cute and our little chihuahua loves them. We tell her they are her chickens. They are alot of work but we will really miss them when they leave. Thanks for the reply.

    These chicks were not much older than 2 days, 3 at tops. We have alot of coyotes in the woods surrounding our house. We heard them kill something the night I found the first chick around sundown. The next day I found the other chick that ran out of the woods by out back yard.I never heard or...

    Do the wild turkeys that have been hand fed tame down like domestic fowl? I don't handle them since they have been eating on their own.This is my first wild turkeys I have had. I want to keep them wild so I can turn them loose this spring.

    Thank you for the input. Will go to grocery and get some garlic tomorow. I have garlic powder I sprinkle on the dogs food for fleas but I will the use fresh for the feathersheads. Cant get over how much they have grown in 2 weeks time.have a good evening.

    Thanks for asking. Today they started eating on their own. They are getting their little tail feathers and are getting wing feathers. We figured they are about almost 2 weeks old now. We almost lost the littlest one a couple of times but pulled him through. Boy what a relief that they are...

    Well our 2 new babies are wild turkeys. Think coyotes got their mom and siblings; We have them under a light. Feeding them starter turke y food, got gravel for them to pick at and now we are hand feeding them cause they won't eat. I thougt the lil guy was dying so we started to spoon feed then...
