Hoping to trap it tonight. Where it's tried to dig into is only the run area but now it knows they are there it will come back.

Few years ago I had one of my bantams disappear during the day while they were out of the pen. Assuming the worst and having given up on her returning she turned up weeks later with 24 healthy chickens in tow.

Considering the eggs were all laid on the same day I expect there won't be too much longer till some more action

Bought my incubator 4 weeks ago. I got 10 eggs off a friend and put them in. Set the incubator up according to the instructions. All looking well. Come to day 18 I removed them from the tray. Today (26th) is day 21. One egg had pipped lunch time yesterday. I left it be. And had made further...
