I read somewhere that pea combs that show three rows are often indicative of cockerels and the EE/Ameraucana chick is the only of my pea comb group that has the three distinct rows. The photo doesn’t show it well. That and the hackle feathers are making me question the gender.

This 6 week old chick is getting a red comb and wattles much sooner than the other pullets we have. This is supposed to be a female but I know hatcheries have a margin of error, so I am wondering if this might be a male.
