Nothing too radical tbh. A simple cardboard box with some straw or wood shavings and a 60 watt glow buld for the heat. Just made sure to turn the eggs twice a day.

Tonight about 5 mins ago Quacky Chan has passed on and even though they were my first, I actually formed a bond with him 😢 but this hasn’t put me off I will get some more as it help keep my mind active and less depressed and suicidal thoughts
All the birds on our property are wild, Canadian geese, ducks, Moore hens. I only took these eggs in due to a fox getting mummy duck while nesting but she was pretty tame for a wild bird and I fed her and gave her water so she didn’t have to leave her nest if she didn’t want to
They have the cute little buggers. Plus how funny would it be me walking into my rugby club ducks in tow haha (joking) be like the old jokes ‘’ a duck walked in to a bar’’
I’d say what sort of person wouldn’t but there quite a lot that wouldn’t... plus it’s kind of help with my depression etc as it’s something to focus on and it’s taught the kids that nurturing things make anything possible
