I noticed that when there are other roosters around some cockerels combs take longer to fully pinken out. Since the other roo you have is so bright looking it might be the more dominant of the two :)
Your probably right about them being mixed, I don’t see why else so many different looking chicks would be thrown together in the same bucket (there were a LOT) now that I think about it
