    Dors anyone use purina gamebird grow and plumage? It's 30% protien and this is all I can find locally above the usual 20% feed. Is this too much for my Bobs an cots?

    If you do buy live birds, put them in a quarantine pen by themselves away from your current stock for at least 2 weeks. Observe there behavior to make sure there eating and drinking normally. Also check them for lice and other pests. Make sure they aren't losing feathers dramatically.

    The ones with the redish feathers around the head are the males. The ones with light head feathers are females.

    Well there finally in there 2ft.x 8ft. home. They seem to be enjoying it there singing to each other.

    Luckily he brought them in a cage. They have to sit in my office for 10 hrs. I did bring food and water. So we are good. They don't seem stressed at all. They are hanging out resting quietly.

    I have somone giving me 5 coturnix quail tomorrow. He's bringing them to work in the morning, but they will have to stay boxed up gor 10 hrs. Any pointers?

    I have 50 bobs coming next week. It will be my first hatch ever. I'm going to be busy for a while.
