    Thank you! I've had chickens for 3 years but this is the first time I've had something happen that wasn't already discussed in another thread. I don't have one but we tried to order some a few weeks back to help insure we were wiping out the rats, they were out of stock and on months long...

    Hubby and I were chatting about repairs to our barn and if he should rent scaffolding or a cherry picker to do the work and suddenly he says "there are eggs in the broken header!" And sure enough, there are. He put up a ladder for me to look closer and it turns out one of them is a marked egg...
