    No, it's still there, but it has gotten smaller as it dried. It's really hard. Chick is doing fine tho still way smaller than the rest.

    On her belly, but real close to the vent. Not blocking the vent tho. She is pooping just fine.

    It is now a dryed hard thing. Will it fall off on its own? Chick is still doing good, definitely the smallest of the bunch tho.

    As a side note we have one breach baby, that needed an assist. Seems to be doing fine now that he can breath!

    egg shells too hard/thick

    I'm not entirely sure, this is only my second batch of duck eggs. But the shells seem way harder/thicker than normal and my ducks seem to be having a tuff time hatching. What causes this? And how do I fix it for next time?
