Trying to figure out what this girl is and I'm realizing that a lot of my confusion is her comb. Doesn't look like my dominique or amercauna combs. She seems slightly smaller than the others but not by much if so. Lays light tan eggs with pale white flecks.
No changes with the feathers anywhere, all still rounded closeup. The slightly bigger waddles are still the only difference I see. The frizzle is female, her male twin was super obvious and has already been rehomed.
Hatch date 8/20 (almost 9 weeks), all the same turken. The frizzles are one of each so I've been using those for comparison but I'm stumped. Cheeks turn red when excited and are pale otherwise.
I have a black star x partridge cochin that I need help with. it's crossed so I know that the mother's sex-link coloring doesn't mean that it's female but I would think that it would have a lot more by now. He/she hatched the end of june so it's about 2 months old.
By how old it looks, the easiest thing to do is look at the top of its comb at the very tip. If there's little spikes showing up, then it's definitely a rooster.
