I just came in to ask about my eggs and if I should be worried about my chicken... 4 chickens 4 white eggs but... one chicken lays brown eggs? Welcome!! I was in the same boat as you! We had no clue! We got chickens for eggs... while I care about getting eggs I like them more as pets! Super fun to watch and if handled a lot super loving! We now have 4...the limit. We started out with 2. I live in Federal Way- xXmuffkinXx

Is my Mottled Java a hen or roo?
I think you are right! When I got her I was told she was a speckled Sussex and that was obviously wrong the next guess was a Java. With no experience and only peoples guesses we settled with Java... but I was never set on what she was and then I saw the rooster pic and it really got me searching...- xXmuffkinXx
